Membership Tiers and the Registry of Diner Status

The Order of the Standard Table is a cooperative supporter organization, designed to support the continuous development and preservation of Greater Than Games. This page outlines the operational details of membership ("Diner Status"), the functioning of the Registry, and the specific benefits associated with the various tiers of support.

Understanding Writs and Diner Status

Your seat at the Standard Table is maintained by an annual renewal, known formally as purchasing a Writ.

  • Active Membership (Diner Status): Purchasing a single Writ grants one standard, uniquely-numbered physical certificate in the official registry and renovates your Active Diner Status for one standard year.

  • Perks: All active Diners get free shipping from the GTG webstore and on GTG crowdfunding campaigns to anywhere in the contiguous USA. All Diners get the benefits of their tier, regardless of active status. See below to see the benefits of each tier.

  • Cumulative Advancement: Tier advancement is determined by the total, cumulative number of valid Writs associated with your profile in the Registry. You may purchase Writs individually over consecutive years or speed your advancement by purchasing multiple Writs.

  • Artisanal Artifact Fulfillment: Each individual Writ features handcrafted elements, manual calligraphy, and a unique serial number, sealed physically by the Stewards of the Order. Writ orders represent significant artisanal labor and ship in curated batches. Please allow a standard operational fulfillment window of roughly 4 to 6 weeks from your purchase date for Writs to be dispatched.

Operational Details and Disclaimers

Code of Conduct: All Diners are required to abide by the Cannon of Conduct and Table Manners.

Free US Domestic Ground Shipping: Free standard ground shipping applies exclusively to orders placed within the domestic contiguous United States on the official GTG webstore.

Webstore Discounts: Discounts (5%, 10%, 15%, or 20%) are applied to standard merchandise pricing on the official GTG webstore. These discounts are not combinatorial and cannot be combined with sitewide sales, specific promotions, or other coupon codes.

NO Corporate Equity: Membership in the Order of the Standard Table is strictly a supporter relationship. Joining the Order and purchasing Writs conveys NO right, interest, or entitlement to corporate ownership, stock equity, operational governance, profit participation, or investment return within Greater Than Games, Once and Future Games, or any subsidiary entity. Writs are membership artifacts, not security interest tokens.

NO Investment Interest: This program is not structured as an investment, and the unique, numbered physical artifacts (Writs) provided carry no guaranteed speculative, financial, or investment value, and are non-transferable and non-refundable. The serial numbers and registry entries are intended solely for organizational, supportive, and social recognition.

Non-Legal Structure: The Order is a membership body of supportive fans and is not a separate legal entity, non-profit charitable corporation, or structured for corporate liability beyond Greater Than Games or Once and Future Games. All financial support is directed to the operations of GTG/O&FG.

Benefit Modification: All membership perks, discounts, access, artifacts, and event admissions listed in the Comparison Chart are subject to change, modification, or cancellation by the Stewards of the Order with reasonable notice, as operational capacity, logistical factors, or economic conditions demand. They can also be rescinded due to any Diner not complying with the Order Code of Conduct.

Registry Management: Registry numbers are unique, permanent, and assigned sequentially. The official Registry is managed exclusively by the appointed Stewards and entries are non-transferable between Diner profiles.
